LETTERS TO SANTA RETURNS...Stop by the Township office (1549 E Greyhound Pass) or Westfield City Services (2728 E 171st Street) from November 26 - December 16 to drop off letters to Santa. If you include a stamped envelope with your child's name and address, Santa will send a reply!

The Hamilton County Emergency Rental Assistance Program is hiring a temporary EVICTION & RENTAL SPECIALIST. Read the full job description HERE.  



The HIP strike team held a workday at Macgregor Park in Westfield on 10/23. The HIP Strike Team is a group led by experienced volunteers and/or SWCD staff volunteers who provide technical support and labor to remove invasive species at partner sites. Free "Creative Social for Older Seniors" with Tina Mangos
Tina will offer an art/craft activity for older seniors, including those with memory loss or older people with disabilities. Caretaker/staff MUST be present. Depending on the skill level, participants will paint, sew, cut/paste, etc.  Tina has over 40 years of experience in education and the arts. She has taught all groups of people--youth and adults--including people with disabilities. Location:   Athena House, 989 East St, Westfield (not wheelchair accessible), www.TinaMangosArts.com. *Available dates: 11/22, 11/29, and 12/18 from 1:30-3:30 pm. This Fall, the Hamilton County Invasives Partnership (HIP) and Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) are offering an invasive species trade-in program.  For a limited time and as supplies last, property owners can show proof of removal of an invasive species on their Hamilton County property and receive one five-gallon native species specimen for free. The Hamilton County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application is still accepting applications.  This program was created to provide housing stability for renters affected by COVID-19. Qualified renters can apply for financial assistance to help cover past due rent and/or utility payments. Learn more or apply HERE.

The “Get Alarmed” program was recently launched by the Westfield Fire Department. Residents can receive up to 3 free smoke detectors for their homes by filling out this FORM.  

The City of Westfield once again invites the community to join them in downtown Westfield to kick off the Holiday season! Westfield in Lights will feature Pictures with Santa, Frosty the Snowman, Vendors, Live Music & Performances, Caricature Artists, and more! Learn more HERE.

Sign up for the Purposity app and support students this holiday season. Wish lists have been uploaded for students that might not otherwise receive a gift this year.
How does Purposity work? Download the app on your smartphone; create an account and select Westfield Washington Schools (under Indianapolis Metro); upload your payment information and select an item/s that you wish to purchase; Purposity takes care of purchasing the item through Amazon and sending it to the administration building so the item can be delivered to the family.

While Prevail is privileged to work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, we also serve victims of other crimes, including victims of stalking, robbery, home invasion, and family members of homicide victims, among others.  We specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma.  Our services include advocacy, safety planning, crisis response, and support groups.  We work with individuals and families, including kids, teens, and adults.

Clothes with a Cause is supporting TWO local nonprofits this month, Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana the Wellbeing Coalition of Westfield. One hundred percent of November profits will be split equally and donated to these organizations. It’s time to start that holiday shopping and there is no better time to #shopwithpurpose than now!

If you have little ones in your life (or maybe even bigs), you will want to be part of this upcoming event: "Making Magic with Impish the Elf"  This event will help you learn the "tricks of the season" to create traditions for families of all ages. Author Amanda Hauser will share the Impish the Elf tradition and how to grow it with your family. Books and merchandise will be available for sale at the event and part of your registration fee will serve as a credit. Cash, checks, and credit will be accepted the night of the event.
