Keeping you in the loop
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and the Region 5 Workforce Board, in partnership with the office of Congresswoman Victoria Spartz, will host a virtual job fair highlighting numerous job openings in Hamilton and Madison counties.  The virtual job fair is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 112 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2021. Sign up HERE.

Appointments are now open for parents to sign up their kids to receive a winter coat at one of 6 locations (Arcadia, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Sheridan, Westfield) countywide. To sign up please click here: Kids Coats Appointments. The deadline for submission is Oct. 15.

Westfield Washington Historical Society and Museum will be restoring an 1835 cabin. The Barker Cabin will be located at 135 Penn Street, next to City Hall.

The Hamilton County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application is still accepting applications.  This program was created to provide housing stability for renters affected by COVID-19. Qualified renters can apply for financial assistance to help cover past due rent and/or utility payments. Learn more or apply HERE.

The intersection of 151st Street and Ditch Road will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning Monday (9/27) for the construction of a new roundabout. Please follow signage for the designated detour route during this time.

School of Rock
Did you know that there are over 50 different countries and cultures represented in our student body? The WHS Passport to the Globe event will take place on October 14th. Check the WHS website and Facebook page for more details and to purchase tickets.

News from Family Promise
Urban Air Adventure Park is hosting a Charity Night for Family Promise of Hamilton County on Thursday, September 30th from 4-8 P.M.  20% of the proceeds that night will be donated to us to help families at risk of becoming homeless. Come out and have fun while supporting families in Hamilton County!

While Prevail is privileged to work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, we also serve victims of other crimes, including victims of stalking, robbery, home invasion, and family members of homicide victims, among others.  We specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma.  Our services include advocacy, safety planning, crisis response, and support groups.  We work with individuals and families, including kids, teens, and adults.

ONLY 15 DAYS REMAINING! The Mayor’s Yellow Tie Gala benefiting the Westfield Youth Assistance Program is back in person this year and better than ever!  The Gala will be held on October 8th at the Bridgewater Club. There will be food stations, drinks, live music, auction items, and a reverse raffle with a $5,000 prize. Come join the fun by purchasing tickets HERE.

Join WOW members for a coach-led session on stress management through a Functional Medicine approach on September 29 at 7 pm. This session will focus on discussing the importance of stress management in high achieving women over 40 and the effects it has on gut health and hormone imbalance to be able to live with vitality. FREE to attend but registration is required.  REGISTER HERE.
