The Hamilton County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application is still accepting applications.  This program was created to provide housing stability for renters affected by COVID-19. Qualified renters can apply for financial assistance to help cover past due rent and/or utility payments. Learn more or apply HERE. 

If you’re an Indiana homeowner who has fallen behind on your mortgage payments or is unable to make future payments due to an involuntary financial hardship, please reach out to the HARDEST HIT FUND. The deadline to apply for up to $30,000 of mortgage assistance from Indiana's Hardest Hit Fund is May 3, 2021. Please submit your application online or call 1-877-GET-HOPE (1-877-438-4673).

News from Heart and Soul Clinic
3rd Annual Polo Event to support Heart and Soul Free Clinic will be July 2nd. General Public can attend with no need to RSVP; Tailgate and bring your own food, drinks and chairs; $40 per car load at the gate. Gates open at 5pm.

The Weekend Backsacks Program is in need of some items: Instant Oatmeal (Individual Packets), Single Serving Cereal Boxes, Individual Mac & Cheese Cups, Cans of Pasta with No Meat, Soft Snack Bars, Chips (Individual Bags). Items can be dropped off at the pantry anytime in the drop-off box by the side entrance.

April is Sexual Assault Prevention Month. Many Hamilton County organizations are partnering with Prevail to display t-shirts decorated by clients who are survivors of sexual assault. If you visit the Township, there is a very meaningful display in the front window.

The Westfield Washington Library is hosting an artisan sale and literary activities Mothers Day Weekend, Saturday, May 8 from 10-4.  Art, Love, and Friendship is a beautiful way to enjoy and purchase art from local artisans, get a quick fix eye makeup session, engage the kids in the maker's space, and more.  This is a free event for all ages. Last week, a group of 4th-6th grade youth enjoyed hiking, fishing, and developing map skills and teamwork at many state parks over spring break with Camptown! 
Providing camp opportunities is an integral part of the program as it allows youth to develop positive identity, friendships, social skills, physical & thinking skills, and positive values.
