Township Partners with Janus

Westfield Washington Township announced today a partnership with Janus Development on the Dress to Impress Program, a clothing closet for individuals in need of professional clothing to advance their careers.  The Township will be serving as a drop-off location for the community to donate their clothes.

Janus Development is hoping to obtain men’s and women’s clothing (all sizes) including pants, dresses, shirts, blouses, ties, belts, shoes, handbags, and jewelry – or anything that a person would need to boost their confidence for a job interview.  “When I found out about this amazing program, I knew I wanted the Township to lend a hand in some way,” says Township Trustee Danielle Carey Tolan.  “We will serve as a drop-off location and my hope is that residents living nearby will learn of this beneficial program and want to donate their clothing to a great cause,” says Tolan.

This program spun from a client at Janus Development needing clothing for an upcoming interview.  Janus employees learned of the client’s needs and began to bring clothing to work.  Because of those generous donations, the Janus Development client arrived at the interview dressed to impress and subsequently got the job.

The Township will be accepting clothing donations during normal business hours, 9am – 4pm Monday through Friday.  The Township Offices are located at 1549 E Greyhound Pass in Carmel.
